Machines
AXIDRAW and NEXTDRAW

AXIDRAW and NEXTDRAW are essentially drawing robots, with the latter being a newer model. They are pen plotters, that can automatically replicate hand-drawn art or text on a variety of surfaces. Create your artwork, convert it to an SVG file, and let the machines do the work!

BOTSY

Botsy is a drawing robot, similar to the NEXTDRAW and AXIDRAW, but on a much larger scale. This pen plotter can create images up to 6 feet in width, and roughly 5 feet in height. Botsy works with a variety of materials, just like its smaller counterparts, so come in to try it out!

VINYL CUTTER

The Vinyl Cutter is a computer-controlled machine that uses a blade to cut shapes and letters from thin vinyl sheets. It can be used to create signs, decals, and even custom apparel. Think of it as a printer that uses a blade to cut designs rather than creating them with ink. If you are feeling really advenurour, though, this machine can be used to draw, just like our other plotters!

EMBROIDERY MACHINE

The Embroidery Machine is a computer-controlled sewing machine that stitches digital designs onto fabric with thread. It automates the process of decorative stitching, making it easy to add logos, patterns, or custom artwork to textiles with precision and detail.

GLOWFORGE

The Glowforge is a computer-controlled laser cutter and engraver that uses a focused beam of light to cut, score, and engrave materials like wood, acrylic, leather, and more. It automates the process of precision cutting and engraving, making it easy to create custom designs, detailed artwork, or functional parts with exceptional accuracy and clean finishes.

ULTRASONIC WELDER

The Ultrasonic Welder uses sound waves to fuse together thin, flexible materials that contain plastic. Rather than using adhesives, it produces high frequency, ultrasonic vibrations that generate heat. This softens the materials as they move through the machine, welding them together, before they cool and harden. By adjusting the power, speed, and pressure you can experiment with various materials. These include  polyester, nylon, spandex, acrylic fabrics, plastic bags, tarps, sheeting, tyvek, and shiny food wrappers!
